Title: Theta series and totally real number fields
Abstract: In this talk, we illustrate a method to construct theta series attached to totally real number fields. In particular, we show how in low degree these theta series constitute a complete invariant. We finish by discussing some experimental work on the spaces of modular forms generated by these theta series. This is joint work with Guillermo Mantilla-Soler and Nathan C. Ryan.
