Title: Eigenvectors of tensors

Abstract: The concept of a tensor eigenvector was introduced independently by L.-H. Lim and L. Qi in 2005. The set of eigenvectors of a tensor forms an algebraic variety (i.e., the common zero locus of polynomials) called the eigenvariety of the tensor. The purpose of this talk is to discuss algebraic and geometric properties of eigenvarieties of tensors.
