Abstract: In this talk I will introduce two general classes of nonlinear impulsive evolution systems. The existence and properties of solutions or solution tree will be discussed.At the same time, optimal control problems of systems governed by nonlinear impulsive evolution systems are also considered. The existence of optimal controls and necessary conditions of optimality for several optimal control problems will be presented.Finally, I will discuss a few open problems.
