Abstract: It is well-known that the fundamental solution plays an important role in the study of partial differential equations. In this talk we shall discuss about the fundamental solution of nonlinear heat equations. It turns out that the fundamental solution may or may not exist when the equation is nonlinear. We will give the conditions to characterize the existence/ nonexistence of fundamental solution for nonlinear heat equations.
