The Fiji Island
The island is named Bekana and is one of the Fiji islands in the South Pacific. It is situated one mile off the northeast coast of the island of Vanua Levu and 40 miles up from Labasa. Bekana is in one of those special locations just quietly tucked away from the boom and roar of the tourist meccas. Two years ago, the Fiji government imposed a new island tax based, placing the value of Bekana island at $750,000.
