Math 300: Mathematical Computing

An Evolving Text

Cooper periodically works on a text for this course. It currently contains a certain amount of material we no longer cover, and does not yet have a treatment of some material that has been inserted into the course recently. On the other hand, it represents an attempt to put much of the information for the course in a single location. It is in PDF format.

Assignment B is posted.

You may rewrite one (1) question of the second quiz to be graded anew. Attach to the quiz the page with the neatly rewritten answer to a clearly-identified question. The answer is worth up to all the points you lost on the question, so choose the question you lost the most points on. This is due by class time on Monday, 26 November. Note that the standards for this solution will be slightly higher than for the quiz. In particular, since you have time, you must explain your answers very clearly.
