Note that you can work on modified versions of most of these problems in MyMathLab by going to the Study Plan.

Here's the actual front page of your exam (shows the formulas you'll be given).

For those with a lab (or other legitimate) conflict, there are two alternate times to take the exam:
  (1)  Right before the regular exam, Wed 2/7, 4:20-5:35, in Todd 125
  (2)  The morning after the regular exam, Thurs 4/8, 7:45 - 9:00 am, in the MLC.

You are to email your lecturer if you need one of these times. In the email, you must:
  * Use the subject line "Math 172 exam 1 conflict";
  * Give your name and ID number;
  * Say which time (early or late) you are hoping to take the exam;
  * Explain the reason you can't take the exam at the regular time
     (include the class name, number and section if it's a course conflict)

Review session: Ralph Chikhany will conduct a review session on Tues Feb 6 at 6:00 pm in Heald G3.
All current math 171 students are welcome.  Review session notes
