Hi there! I grew up in the beautiful state of Kerala in India.
I finished my B.Tech from the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras
in 1999, majoring in Mechanical Engineering. Then I moved to the US
for my graduate studies. I obtained my Ph.D. in Operations Research
from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill (August 2004).

My research interests are in the areas of integer programming, combinatorial
optimization, cryptography, computational geometry and topology
applied to computational biology, protein structure, and bioinformatics.
