Financial Assistance Information

Most of the graduate students in the Department of Mathematics receive financial assistance in the form of teaching or research assistantships. Application for these is made as part of the application for admission that prospective students submit to the Graduate School. The Mathematics Graduate Student Handbook contains information on the duties of teaching and research assistants.

Exceptional applicants are also automatically considered by the Department for additional financial assistance through several scholarships and fellowships. Please contact the Graduate Program Coordinator for more information about scholarships and fellowships.

The Office of Student Financial Aid and Scholarship Services has information on sources of financial aid available to all students of the University.
