The Display Dialog Box

Whenever you double-click a display rectangle, the display dialog box should appear. This is preset to certain default values, and if you are not particular about the details of your display, then you may simply press the 'OK' button to continue. However, frequently it is necessary to change the settings, whether they be for the objects to be plotted, or the plotting range, or the display of axes. There are a number of controls that are common to most display rectangles.

Once a display is created, its type cannot be changed. If you decide that a different type of display is required, you should use the Delete button from the dialog box to remove the display, and then draw a new display.

Any number of display rectangles may appear on a page. For more details, see the appropriate related topics.
