Forwarding your email involves two parts.

1) Setting your WSU email account to forward to mail.wsu.edu.
2) Adding your Math email address to your WSU .forward file.

Part 1 - Setting your WSU email account to forward to "your_WSU_login_name@mail.wsu.edu"

• Go to the WSU home page
• Go to the Faculty/Staff page
• Choose the "einfo-Center" link (one of the circles at the top of the page)
• Choose the "ADDRESS & E-MAIL" link in the left frame
• Choose the "Forward My E-Mail" link
  
• Enter your Network ID and password
• Select the "Change your e-mail forwarding address" option and press "Continue"
• Enter your e-mail forwarding address which will be:  your_WSU_login_name@mail.wsu.edu

Part II - Setting up a .forward file in your WSU Unix email account using the pico editor
(Note:  the following instructions are for a Windows machine.  If you are using Linux, open a terminal and telnet or ssh into wsunix.wsu.edu)

• Press "Start" on the Windows machine
• Press "Run..." and then click "OK" to open a command line terminal
  
• At the command line prompt, type: telnet wsunix.wsu.edu -l your_WSU_login_name@wsu.edu (enter all this on one line and then press Enter)
• Enter your WSU Network ID login name and password
• After the prompt (which will be something like unicorn:/users/wsunix/your_login_name [27%]%), type:  pico (space) .forward, and then press Enter
• You are now inside the .forward file.  Type your Math Department email address here.
• Press the Enter button to save the file
• Next, simultaneously press the the Ctrl button and the X button, to exit
• Type exit to get out of pico
