Log In Screen - What if I Don't Like the New Log In Screen?
We "love" the new photo on your log in screen. But, if you can't live with it please let us know, and we will give you something else (but it may not be as attractive).
PDF Files - Reading PDF Files in Mozilla
If you are using Mozilla on RedHat 9.0 you will need to configure Mozilla's prefrences in order to read a pdf file from the Internet.
Open Mozilla, press Edit -> Preferences
On the left side of the Preferences pop-up window, under Navigator, click "Helper Applications."
On the right side of this same window click the box called "New Type..."
Enter the following information:
Terminal - Placing a Terminal on the Panel or Desktop
To add a terminal to the control panel, right click on the desktop. Click on "New Launcher." In the Name box, type Terminal and in the Command box, type gnome-terminal . If you would like, choose an icon. Drag the icon from the desktop onto the panel. You may leave that icon on the desktop or place the desktop icon in the trash bin. The trash bin is also located on the desktop.
