Restoring the gnome-terminal prompt

  1. Press the foot icon (start menu)
  2. Scroll up to "Utilities"
  3. Move the mouse to the right and click on "Gnome Terminal"
This opened a new gnome terminal but if you want to add it to your panel do the following:

  1. Right click on the panel
  2. Click on "Add New Launcher", and enter the following information:
  3. Name: GNOME terminal
  4. Comment: Terminal emulation program
  5. Command: gnome-terminal
  6. Type: Application
  7. Icon: choose an icon of your choice

To delete the gnome-terminal prompt, right click on it and press "Remove from Panel"
