Inland Northwest Mathematics Experience (IN_ME)

The second annual Inland Northwest Mathematics Experience (INME) was held on the Washington State University Pullman campus, on Thursday, November 4, 2004, and Friday, November 5, 2004. High school and junior high students throughout the Northwest came to campus to participate in hands-on mathematical exercises. The following random photos were taken throughout the day on Friday, November 5, 2004, as students participated in activities and problem solving exercises. A special thanks to contributors of this event. Schweitzer Engineering Laboratories, Inc. of Pullman, Washington, provided a $1,500 event donation, the WSU College of Sciences provided payment of lunch for all students, and the WSU Department of Mathematics contributed $300. Dr. Kim Vincent organized the event and WSU students enrolled in Math 330 - Secondary Mathematical Methods, created the hands-on exercises for participating students.
