Inland Northwest Mathematics Experience (images)
November 6th and 7th, 2008

The sixth annual Inland Northwest Mathematics Experience was held on the Washington State University Pullman campus, on Thursday, November 6th, and on Friday, November 7th. High school and junior high students from throughout the Pacific Northwest arrived on campus to participate in hands-on mathematical exercises. Participating students were enrolled in a variety of classes: advanced and remedial math as well as alternative schools. The following are random photos that were taken throughout both days. Please note that the photos are not in any particular order.

A special thanks to contributors' of the event. A special thanks to all of the WSU locations that provided classroom space: the College of Education, SLIC, the Honors College, and the newly remodeled CUB. Dr. Kim Vincent, of the Department of Mathematics, organized the event with the help of staff member Pam Guptill and members of the registered student organization PreToM (Preservice Teachers of Mathematics). WSU students enrolled in Math 330 - Secondary Mathematical Methods, created the hands-on activities for participating students.
