Western Canadian Linear Algebra Conference - June 2006

Graduate students' Amy Yielding, Deanne Morris and Sam Jeon, with Dr. Judi McDonald, participated in the Western Canadian Linear Algebra Conference that was held in Victoria, B.C. June 23rd to June 24th. Dr. Michael Tsatsomeros was a co-organizer of this meeting, and also attended. At the conference, each presented information on their current research. Two other graduate students traveled with them (Sherod Eubanks and Elizabeth Bodine) to watch and learn. Judi's daughter, Katie, also attended.

Dr. McDonald and the students spent a few extra days in Victoria, B.C. during which time they took photos of scenery and the downtown Victoria waterfront. They also took shots of wildlife on the Univeristy of Victoria campus. Below, are photos of the June trip.
