Algebra Seminar: Cayley Digraphs of Groups and Automorphism Groups of Graphs

2005-11-17

Abstract: Cayley digraphs are graphical representations of groups. There is an important and interesting relationship between the graph theoretical properties of Cayley digraphs and the algebraic properties of groups. In this presentation, we will examine how to construct Cayley digraphs of groups and explore a few applications, including the connections between Cayley digraphs of groups and automorphism groups of graphs.
